Virginia is an eleven-year-old member of the Cloverdale Livestock Club in Deschutes County, Oregon. She has been raising market lambs through 4-H and has learned how much work — and heart — goes into preparing an animal for sale day.
She plays volleyball and basketball, but her favorite "sport" is record keeping for the lambs: tracking weights, feed, costs, and gains in her project book. Ask her about average daily gain — she has thoughts.
